Located about 6 miles outside of Rockville, Indiana the Sanatorium sits on 504 acres of property surrounded by forests, creeks and farmland.

The Castellated Gothic style prison was built in 1858 and closed in 2002. It's inmates ranged from civil war prisoners to serial killers.

Once named the “The bloodiest 47 acres in America” by Time Magazine, it was the oldest continually operating prison west of the Mississippi.

I had really high expectations for this 110 year old high school that had been sitting vacant for nearly 20 years.
